These newer models use the updated frame dimensions that our adapters are designed for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unfortunately, the IKEA Trofast adapters are <strong>not compatible with chairs manufactured before May 2003<\/strong>, as these older chairs have different dimensions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How can I tell if I have a newer or older Tripp Trapp\u00ae?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The easiest and most reliable way is to measure the distance between the two vertical backrest rails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Measure the gap <strong>at one end of the backrest<\/strong>, where the two rails are closest together:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Approximately 3.5 cm (1.4 inches):<\/strong> You have a <strong>newer model<\/strong> (May 2003 or newer), which is compatible with our adapters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Approximately 2.5 cm (1 inch):<\/strong> You have an <strong>older model<\/strong> (before May 2003), which is <strong>not compatible<\/strong> with our adapters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This measurement is the quickest way to determine whether your chair is compatible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you&#8217;re still unsure, feel free to send us to our e-mail (<a href=\"mailto:aline3dprinting@outlook.com\">aline3dprinting@outlook.com<\/a>) a photo of your chair or the measured gap, and we&#8217;ll be happy to help you determine compatibility. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have any questions or experience any problems, please don&#8217;t hesitate to <a href=\"https:\/\/aline3d.nl\/nl\/contact\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"381\">contact<\/a> us.
